Jinoos Taghizadeh (b. 1971, Tehran) is an Iranian multi-disciplinary artist, storyteller, and critic. She studied dramatic literature and holds a degree in sculpture from the Fine Arts Faculty of the University of Tehran (2000). For over two decades, she has been an established figure in contemporary art, working across installation, video art, performance art, and contemporary drawing. Since 2001, Taghizadeh has contributed as an editor and critic for various art magazines and has delivered artist talks and lectures at universities and museums worldwide. Her works have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions, biennales, museums, and major institutions across Iran, Europe, and beyond. She has also published artist books in Iran and Europe. While she is based in Iran, she has been living in Toronto since 2022, continuing her artistic practice in new cultural and political contexts, engaging with fresh challenges, and expanding her visual and narrative explorations.
