Douglas Walker
Dianna Witte Gallery
Title: Untitled (Float Series R892)
My work invokes a poetic resonance with the viewer. I make paintings of planets, moons, whales, butterflys, flowers, waterfalls, buildings and trees using a limited pallete of just blue and white. I make images that are more or less representational, while remaining elusive as to where or what. These works are about finding a means to represent a sense of our experience of the world.
