Tom Lecuyer
Tom Lecuyer is a Toronto-based artist whose practice includes printmaking, sculpture and painting. Having studied printmaking at OCAD University, Lecuyer’s work is primarily an exploration of colour, form and material. The piece featured at this year’s Art Gems is a combination of a unique print and the woodblocks used to create it. Traditionally these blocks (sculptures) are considered a by-product of the printmaking process.
