Stella Cade (1988, Toronto) has studied at the Art Students League in New York, Concordia University in Montreal, and received her BFA from OCADU in 2013. Her work explores the intersections of trauma, ritual and healing. Cade was awarded the People’s Choice Award at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition in 2011 and The Donna Maclean Award for portraiture and representational painting from OCADU in 2013. Most recently Cade has been exhibited at Katzman Contemporary and Angell Gallery in Toronto. Her work has been included in the 2017 collections for Art with Heart, ArtsEffect and Art Gems.
