Matt Thomas
Matthew Thomas is a 2022 graduate of the Drawing and Painting program at OCADU. He has been exhibiting work since 2015, including a solo exhibition at Spacemaker II in Toronto following his graduation.
Matthews deep tonal landscapes evoke internal emotions through exterior Imagery. His work draws from a variety of sources including film and animation, historical and contemporary painting, and his own lived experience. Matthew’s paintings act as an investigation of time, memory, and material.
